The track-side walls of Munich's Dülferstraße underground station are clad with handmade glass panels from van Treeck. The idea and colour concept came from the artist Ricarda Dietz.

288 panes, each measuring 82 x 333 cm, were painted with a broad brush in a rainbow of colours to the artist's specifications, then thermally toughened and processed into laminated safety glass.

The Munich-based artist, who specialises in façade design and ceiling painting, has worked on numerous other glass and mosaic projects in our traditional workshops.

Dülferstrasse underground station is friendly and colourful: Munich-based artist Ricarda Dietz had glass made at Haus van Treeck.
