SEBASTIAN HERKNER


Sebastian was born in Bad Mergentheim, Germany, in 1981. He studied product design at Offenbach University of Art and Design (HfG). His work focuses on designing objects merging cultural contexts, combining new technologies with traditional crafts-manship in order to highlight the multifaceted beauty of the materials. Since he found his own design studio in 2006, he has designed products for manufacturers such as ClassiCon, Dedon, Fontana Ar te, La Chance, Moroso, Pulpo and Rosenthal, as well as working on interior design projects.

CHRISTIAN HAAS


Born in Germany in 1974, Christian Haas established his studio in 2000. Ever since, the Industrial Designer creates products through multiple disciplines from furniture and lighting to porcelain and glassware. His design approach merges simplicity and elegance. His sense of aesthetics is driven by the harmony between sobriety, usefulness, emotionality, longevity and uniqueness. The Studio works for international brands. Throughout the years, his work was honored with many design awards like the Red Dot Design Award and the Elle Decoration International Design Award.

ELISA STROZYK


Educated as a textile-designer Elisa Strozyk is building bridges between textile- and furniture design, using wood to produce unique textiles and objects. Her work is pushing the boundaries between 2D and 3D, hard and soft materials, switching meanings and categories. The flexible hybrid material “Wooden Textile” was developed by Elisa Strozyk in 2009 using an innovative technique to merge wood and textile. In combining traditional crafting techniques with innovative technical processes, Elisa Strozyk is also using ceramic and glass to develop unique objects for high-end interior projects. Elisa's work has been exhibited at Design Miami and the Victoria & Albert Museum, among others.

GESA HANSEN


Gesa Hansen graduated fromthe Bauhaus University Weimarand NZU Nagoya University ofArts in Japan. She made her firstwork experiences at Jean Nouveland H5 in Paris. David Raffoul and Nicolas Moussallem are award winning Beirut-based designers. The duo studied together at the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts and the Scuola Politecnica Di Design in Milan, going on to found their own studio, david/nicolas, in Beirut in 2011. Their unique way of blending retro, contemporary and futuristic elements gives their work a timeless aesthetic that translates to a wide range of projects. AYZIT BOSTAN


Ayzit was born in Ankara, Turkey. After studying at the Munich Master School for Fashion, Ayzit launched her own label in 1995. Since 2012 she has been working with Philipp Bree, PB0110, designing bags and accessories. She has received several national design awards. Since 2012 she has been teaching at the department of Textile Design in the School of Arts and Design, Kassel. OHA is a Munich based product and furniture design studio. VIKTOR UDZENIJA


Viktor Udzenija founded hiseponymous studio in Dubai,UAE, and expanded to Europe in2020. CHRISTOPH BÖNINGER


Christoph studied industrial design in Munich and Los Angeles. In his diploma thesis, he developed the world's first laptop computer, which is nowadays on display at the Pinakothek der Moderne, Munich. Afterwards, he worked several years as a design manager both in the USA and later on in Germany. In 2011 together with designer friends, he co-founded the AUERBERG label, which is dedicated to the creation and distribution of furniture characterised as "radically subjective".

STEFFEN KEHRLE


Steffen was born 1976 in Bavaria near Ulm. He studied Industrial Design at the University of applied Arts in Vienna. During internships at companies such as BMW, Busse Design, and Frédéric Dedelley, he intensified his sense of form and materiality. He worked as a designer for Stefan Diez where he was responsible for several product developments. In 2009 he founded Atelier Steffen Kehrle and since then has been working with internationally renowned companies in the areas of product, exhibition and industrial design. Kehrle had a lectureship at Kunsthochschule Kassel from 2009 to 2014.

DAVID LEHMANN


David was born in Wuppertal in 1985. He studied Industrial Design at the Academy of Fine Arts Stuttgart and worked throughout his studies as an assistant to the sculptor Tony Cragg in Wuppertal as well as for Marcel Wanders in Amsterdam, and nendo in Tokyo. In 2014 he founded "Studio David Lehmann" being based in Munich. A key theme in his work is to "make the obvious unobvious by hiding it behind the obvious", resulting in subtle outcomes that are nonetheless rich in detail and complexity.

SACHA WALCKHOFF


With a mix of French, Swiss, Slavic and African roots, Sacha's influences are as diverse as his origins. His long association with fashion icon Christian Lacroix began in 1992 and continued for most of the ensuring two decades, with interludes designing menswear, womenswear and accessory collections for Kenzo and Michel Klein along the way. His tenure as hand-groomed successor to Lacroix culminated with his appointment to the post of creative director in 2010. More recently, Walckhoff has branched into new ventures where he has defined and developed his own unique style vocabulary on projects such as a furniture collection for Gallery Gosserez, a collection of porcelain collector vases for Vista Alegre and a series of glassworks with Verrum.

ARWED GUDERIAN


After studying fashion and industrial design at the Hochschule für Künste in Bremen, Arwed worked as a designer for clients in the fields of product, fashion, interior and exhibition design. He founded a multidisciplinary design studio in 2016. He is a regular member of international design juries and has been a professor at Hof University of Applied Sciences in the Textile Design Department at the Münchberg campus since 2021. Arwed's projects and designs won several design awards. In 2023, one of his designs was included in the permanent collection of the international design museum Die Neue Sammlung, München.

London-based Brown Office is founded by Dean Brown in 2014. They design and make objects, installations and interiors with a dedication to materiality and narrative - delivering projects for clients including Google, Uniqlo, Nike, Sèvres, Depop and Schloss Hollenegg for Design. MIRKO BORSCHE


After graduating with a degree in Graphic Design from the University of Kingston in London and a Communication Design degree from Fachhochschule für Gestaltung in Augsburg, Mirko Borsche worked as an art director for the advertising agency Springer & Jacoby. From 1999 he was the art director of the German youth publications jetzt magazine and NEON magazine. Starting in 2002 Mirko Borsche worked also as art director for Mini-International BMW Group. Since 2007 he is the creative director for the weekly newspaper DIE ZEIT and every other publication of the Zeit-Verlag. In 2007, Borsche founded his Munich design studio Bureau Mirko Borsche. He received numer- ous national and international awards, his work has been exhibited in Amsterdam, Barcelona, Florence, Stockholm, Seoul, and Tokyo.
