For a project as part of the MCBW (Munich Creative Business Week), OHA (Jan Heinzelmann and Sami Ayadi) and van Treeck unleashed their potential and developed a wonderful installation for Munich's Königsplatz: the 'Kaleidoskop Lichtmalerei' (Kaleidoscope of Light Painting) showed the possibilities of the glass painting craft in combination with contemporary design and succinctly presented the tradition of the workshops.

The space offered by bayern design inspired OHA to create an oversized kaleidoscope for everyone to see: hand-made panes by van Treeck rotated in a glass container. The installed spotlights created colour and light effects on the floor in front of the Propylaea. Painting on glass was thus given a prominent Munich stage, and the power of the coloured panes and the centuries-old craftsmanship were impressively tangible.

The glass panes that van Treeck selected for the installation touched on the historical spectrum of the traditional company and at the same time demonstrated the technical possibilities of the glass painting craft. The exhibits included historic panes from the founding years (1880s), cabinet pictures from the 1960s, art from the 1980s and contemporary exhibits such as sample panes from Heilig Kreuz, Giesing or a pane after Gerhard Richter, which was cracked during the course of the project. In between hung glass from the design objects and the first samples from the designer collection of architectural glass - a veritable potpourri of van Treeck's glass painting.

The unusual installation in front of the Propyläen in Munich is the result of a collaboration between van Treeck and designers from Office Heinzelmann Ayadi (OHA).
